Brackets:

• Supplied with solid wall plugs.
• Metal Shelf Brackets - Each shelf comes complete with two side-mounted brackets.
• Wall Screws - 50mm bracket to wall fixing.
• Wood Screws - 30mm bracket to shelf fixing.
• Fitting Instructions - Enclosed are our detailed instructions on how to install the shelf.
• Holding Weight - A pair of these brackets can hold about 20-30 kg (about 60 lbs) of weight. Holding weight varies due to bracket depth.

• Are made from reclaimed scaffold boards which have been sanded and are available in different finishes and sizes. Each piece of timber is hand-cut, sanded and treated for every order. In this process we do not remove any of the timber’s natural markings, giving each piece a unique style every time.
  
• Wood is a natural product and can differ in terms of cracks, grain and other distinguishing features. Any movement such as shrinkage, swelling, twisting and further cracking can be expected which adds to the natural characteristics. These are not defects and therefore are not covered by the lifetime guarantee.

Colours
We use a varnish on these wooden products. Colours may vary slightly.

• Various finishes to choose from.
• Water-resistant finish - up to 30 minutes.
• The varnish intensifies the grain pattern whilst protecting the timber.
  
  We recommend applying a clear coat of varnish or wax once a year to keep your item looking on point.

• Finish - Our shelves are sanded to maintain a rustic style and finished with a wood varnish. Larger character surface cracks and knots are filled whilst still retaining that rustic charm.
• Care - Cleanup couldn't be easier, a damp cloth or some light cleaning products (something without harsh chemicals) is all you need!
• Maintenance - Our finish requires very little maintenance and will withstand spills and splashes. It can also be reapplied in the future if you would like to spruce up your top and keep it looking fresh.

• Made of 40x40mm heavy-duty mild steel angle bar.
• Brackets made with 0.6cm fixing holes.
• Finish: Raw steel. Colour may vary slightly due to the nature of the material and production process.
  

Note:

The responsibility for the correct substrate, conditions and installation of the brackets falls to the buyer.

• Powder coat finish: various colours in satin / gloss / matt.
• Can be used in damp environments including kitchens and bathrooms.

Measuring tips:

• As alcoves aren't always perfectly square and uniformed, we would suggest measuring both where the back of the shelf would sit, and where the front of the shelf would sit when calculating the length of the shelf you require.
• Then you should use the smaller of the two measurements to ensure the shelf will fit correctly.
  We would also suggest deducting 6mm from this length to allow a slight gap on either side.
• If you are ordering multiple shelves, we would also recommend measuring the length of the alcove at each height in case the alcove widens or narrows at any point.
